The Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys TD, today, announced that she would be making a further €45 million available under the Regional Enterprise Development Fund (REDF). The announcement was made by Minister Humphreys today at the recently opened Cavan Digital Hub, which was developed with the support of REDF. Muintir na Tíre has been allocated funding by the Department of Rural and Community Development to install Carbon Monoxide alarms in the homes of elderly and vulnerable persons. This programme is aimed at persons who do not have existing alarms and do not have the resources to install alarms themselves.
