World Homeless Day Concert with Good Shepherd Choir

THE GOOD SHEPHERD CENTRE KILKENNY are pleased to announce their ‘WORLD HOMELESS DAY CONCERT’ in aid of supporting homeless services, Britain’s Got Talent star, Fr. Ray Kelly, supported by the Friends of the Good Shepherd Choir will perform on the night. Festival – ‘Craic’d – Letting the Light In’

Craic’d – Letting the Light In’  is Lifelinkk’s 3rd annual celebration of World Mental Health Day which takes place each year in October. Lifelinkk is an umbrella group for all organisations in Co. Kilkenny, State, Voluntary and Community, with a mental health remit. "Our aim is to forge and strengthen relationships between community and statutory organisations and to be a collaborative voice on issues relating to suicide, mental health and wellbeing." ‘Craic’d – Letting the Light In’ runs from October 3rd to 10th and it is a truly collaborative project. Culture Night on the Parade

The Parade will be alive with the sounds and flavours of the street, with poets, choirs, bands and DJs. Giving Life and Hope Walk – Sept 21, 2018

Teac Tom would like to invite everyone to participate in their annual ‘Giving Light & Hope Walk’ which will be held on 22nd September in Kilkenny and 23rd September in Laois. Teac Tom is part of The Thomas Hayes Trust CLG, a community and voluntary registered charity with branches in Kilkenny and Laois.  They provide free and immediate counselling, education and a drop in support. So far this year Teac Tom has provided free support to over 250 individuals and families.
