Kilkenny Public Participation Network (PPN) is pleased to share that Social Inclusion Working Group have submitted a response to Kilkenny County Council Draft County Kilkenny Heritage Strategy 2026-2030 .
The Social Inclusion Working Group centered it submission on the importance of embedding equity, diversity, and cultural representation in all aspects of heritage planning. It highlights the need to engage directly with underrepresented communities—such as migrants, Travellers, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and people with disabilities—and to ensure inclusive access to funding, resources, and participation in decision-making.
