The Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment is funding community, voluntary and not-for-profit organisations to provide citizens with basic digital skills training under the “Digital Skills for Citizens” Grant Scheme. The scheme aims to provide citizens who have never used the internet with the confidence, motivation and skills to reap the benefits of today’s digital world. The Vision of Connecting for Life is an Ireland where fewer lives are lost through suicide and Strategic Goal 2 is to support local communities’ capacity to prevent and respond to suicidal behaviour.
