Cois Nore Cancer Support Centre provides emotional and practical support for people in Kilkenny who have been affected by cancer. Cois Nore provides professional counselling, massage, reflexology, information talks, mindfulness, yoga and various other groups throughout the year. All of our services are provided free of charge. Cois Nore is reliant on fundraising to continue t provide these supports. The Callan Variety Club are a voluntary based club, in the town of Callan, organised by the community, for the community. The club was formed in 1988 and with two exceptions have performed their shows each year for three nights in St. Bridgids College Callan concert hall. Over the years they have generated in excess of €200,000, which has been donated to many deserving organisations within the town of Callan.

PAWS Animal Rescue is a wholly Irish Charity established in 1997. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill pounds and owners who can no longer care for them. We have been working with The Kilkenny Traveller Community Movement with the worming, de-fleaing and micro-chipping the dogs.
