2019 EPA Research Calls (Status: Open)

This year, proposals are being sought from the research community to help identify solutions to emerging and complex environmental problems. The research call highlights the importance of a clean, healthy and well-protected environment for our health, our wellbeing and our quality of life.

With up to €10.2m available for new research projects to be awarded in 2019 and 2020, the Research Call is divided into three strands: Water; Climate & Air, and Environmental Sustainability. About EPA Funding

The EPA’s current Research Programme 2014–2020 provides funding under three pillars –SustainabilityClimate and Water.

This is facilitated through the annual EPA Research Call, which is announced between April and June each year

As well as providing funding through the annual EPA Research Call under the pillars, we also provide funding for:
