Do you want to play your part and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions?

Bike Week 2019 is all about embracing climate change. We are encouraging everyone, young and old, to play their part. So why not leave the car behind, join KRSP and hop on your bike?

 

  1. Bike Maintenance Workshop – This practical workshop will allow you to carry out work on your own bike under the close eye of experienced, professional bike mechanics. After this class, you will have confidence to carry out basic repairs and replacements to your bike.

  1. Castle-to-Castle 40k Cycle – Kilkenny Castle to Paulstown (Shankill Castle). Fabulous food stop in Paulstown.  Specially designed t-shirt for the first 150 registered.

Wednesday, 26.06.19 – 40K CYCLE – The Parade, 07.00pm – 10.00pm  – €12

  1. Family 10k Cycle – An easy summer cycle for all the family. The route uses mainly cycle tracks and families can take a shorter route to suit smaller children. Goodies and medals for all children at the finish. Registration is only €10 per family. Pre-registration essential.  Limited registrations on the night from 6pm to 6.30pm only.

  1. Bike Buffet – This event will be limited to 30 participants who must be registered for the event. Two cycle tutors will accompany the group to a destination for some delicious food. Once there you will be hosted by one of Kilkenny’ premier creators of fantastic food, an author and broadcaster on all things food.
