Planning Successful Community Events – An Introduction Workshop
Are you interested in organising a community event but unsure where to start? Or would you like to strengthen your skills in planning, fundraising, and demonstrating the impact of your group’s activities? Join Kilkenny PPN for a practical workshop designed specifically for community and voluntary groups in County Kilkenny.
During this session, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals around planning and delivering successful events that engage local communities, promote inclusion, and achieve meaningful outcomes. The session will cover each stage of the event planning process, from developing an idea and creating a budget to promoting your event, and evaluating its success.
A key focus of this event planning seminar will be on local funding opportunities, helping groups identify potential grant schemes, sponsorship opportunities, and fundraising approaches to support their activities. Participants will also explore how to measure and demonstrate impact, an increasingly important requirement for grant applications and reporting to funders.
