On Thursday 11th July 2019, the Biorefinery Glas EIPAgri Operational Group in collaboration with Teagasc will host a free small-scale biorefinery field demonstration event at Shinagh farm in Bandon, Ireland. Fáilte Ireland’s major new capital investment programme worth €150 million is called Platforms for Growth, and will run from 2019 to 2022. Major new visitor attractions of scale will be developed and existing attractions greatly enhanced under the programme which falls under the Government’s Project Ireland 2040 strategy. CREATIVE IRELAND KILKENNY GRANT SCHEME

Kilkenny County Council will award a limited number of grants to cultural projects in the county as part of the Creative Ireland 2019 Programme. The EPA research programme has allocated budget to provide funding to support workshops, seminars and other events. Normally the amount of funding per event will not exceed €3,000. Funding is provided only for events with a clear relevance to Irish environmental research priorities and on the condition that the events are run on a not-for-profit basis.
