The Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Dr Katherine Zappone TD, has launched a new €2m fund to support ‘ground-breaking and new proposals’ to support disadvantaged young people. Quality and Capacity Building Initiative supported through Dormant Accounts Funding. This fund is open to community, voluntary and not-for-profit organisations delivering innovation in prevention and early intervention services for children and young people. COMMUNITIES INTEGRATION FUND 2018 - Call for Proposals Mr. David Stanton T.D., Minister of State for Equality, Immigration and Integration at the Department of Justice and Equality, launched the Communities Integration Fund (CIF) 2018. €500,000 is available from the Office for Promotion of Migrant Integration in 2018 to support community organisations to promote migrant integration, raise intercultural awareness and combat racism in their local communities. VOICE and Repak: GRANTS TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY GROUPS VOICE and Repak have developed this grant to support community groups to engage with their neighbours to clear up the confusion around recycling through local face-to-face discussions, and to help with research into current recycling behaviour and barriers by conducting a paper survey in their community The grants will be up to a maximum of €500 per group and are being made available to community groups to support the Recycling Ambassador Programme Nationwide. CLÁR is a targeted investment programme which provides funding for small scale infrastructural projects in rural areas which have suffered the greatest levels of population decline. The Programme is a key enabler in supporting rural communities and will an important part of the Government’s integrated strategy for rural development, which will be supported through the new Rural Regeneration and Development Fund.
