CONNECTING FOR LIFE, Ireland’s National Strategy to Reduce Suicide 2015-2020 was launched in 2015. The Vision of Connecting for Life is an Ireland where fewer lives are lost through suicide and Strategic Goal 2 is to support local communities’ capacity to prevent and respond to suicidal behaviour. This includes the development of local multi-agency suicide prevention plans. Development and implementation of these plans is the responsibility of HSE Mental Health but it is vital that we get the perspective of every community, voluntary and statutory organisation and agency so that we can respond appropriately to the identified needs and the specific priority groups in Kilkenny. Your participation in this process will inform the development of Connecting for Life Kilkenny.

Tracy Nugent Resource Officer for Suicide Prevention, The Regional Suicide Resource Office is inviting you to make a submission on behalf of your organisation. The submission form can be located on the PPN website and they would be very grateful if you could complete and return it to Tracy Nugent by Friday, February 9th.
