Out of School Education Provision
The Department of Education and Skills and TUSLA Educational Welfare Services have jointly established a Working Group to carry out Action 88 of the DEIS Plan 2017 – ‘Review the current out of school and second-chance provision to inform future supports in this area’. The Working Group is now inviting written submissions from interested persons or parties on the provision of future supports in this area for consideration. “Getting Citizens Online” Training Scheme
The Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment is funding community, voluntary and not-for-profit organisations to provide citizens with basic digital skills training under the “Digital Skills for Citizens” Grant Scheme. The scheme aims to provide citizens who have never used the internet with the confidence, motivation and skills to reap the benefits of today’s digital world.
